Apple’s New iPad to arrive in 12 more countries from April 20

Apple today announced in a Press Release the list of countries that will get the new iPad from April 20th. The new iPad will be available in South Korea, Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela starting from April 20th.

New iPad is now available for sale in India unofficially

The new iPad is now unofficially available for sale in India for INR 36,799. Indian retailer Tradus.in is offering the imported 16GB WiFi-only iPad on their website. They listed the new iPad with a discount of 8% (INR 3,191) on the retail price of INR 39,990. The new iPad has not yet been launched officially in India.

In an official statement Apple has confirmed that the new iPad sold out of its pre-order stock in less than 5 days. iPad 3 to be announced in first week of March

All Things D yesterday published on their website that the Apple iPad 3 is going to debut in the first week of March in an event that will be held in San Francisco at the Apple’s preferred location for big announcements, Yerba Buena Centre for the Arts. An Apple spokesperson declined to comment on the reports saying the company does not comment on rumours and speculation.
