Datawind enters Indian smartphone market with their PocketSurfer phones

The Ubislate or Akash tablet-maker Datawind has entered the smartphone market in India with the launch of PocketSurfer range of Android phones. The PocketSurfer lineup includes PocketSurfer 5X, PocketSurfer 5 and PocketSurfer 3G5. All three phones introduced by Datawind will be available at affordable prices starting from Rs 3,499.

All three phone supports dual-sim and out the three only PocketSurfer supports 3G. The phones also have large-sized display measuring 5-inches diagonally. The specifications of the three smartphone are as listed below.
