HTC today has unveiled their HTC One Max Android phablet. The new HTC One Max phablet features a 5.9-inch Full HD display, powered by a Snapdragon 600 processor and a Fingerprint scanner. With the unveiling of One max, HTC has expanded the range of One series of devices to a big-sized device also.
HTC One Max inherits the design philosophy of the flagship HTC One smartphone. Looking at the One max you will find that there are many design similarities in One max and the One, it also has similar aluminium chassis as of the One. The handset has a Fingerprint scanner on the back below the camera. Unlike HTC One, One max has a removable back cover under which you will find the microSD card slot, sim-card slot and the battery.
HTC One max features a 5.9-inch Full HD (1080p) Display. It is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB RAM and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and the new Sense 5.5 which is a small upgrade of the previous Sense UI running in the One and One mini. The new Sense 5.5 UI brings new features to BlinkFeed, now it fully supports Google+, RSS and search. You can now even turn off BlinkFeed if you don’t want it.
On the camera front, HTC One max features UltraPixel camera with BSI Sensor, dedicated HTC ImageChip 2, f/2 wide aperture and smart flash. The camera also support Full HD video recording with HDR video. One max also has a front-facing 2.1-megapixel camera capable of recording Full HD videos. The handset also features HTC Zoe to get creative with what you capture with your One max.
HTC One max comes with 16GB and 32GB models with microSD card slot, and is equipped with a 3,300 mAh battery. The device supports all standard connectivity features along with 4G LTE.
HTC One max will be available in European and Asian markets after the scheduled launch event tomorrow. In the US, One max will be available from Sprint and Verizon, pricing and availability details will be available at the time of launch.
