The Indian Electronics giant Videocon has launched another Android smartphone – Videocon A42 which will be available at an affordable price. The Videocon A42 smartphone has a dual-core processor along with Android Jelly Bean mobile OS, and with an affordable price tag of Rs 7,490 it will be ideal for those who are switching to a smartphone.

Videocon A42 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) Capacitive multi-touch display. The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean mobile OS. The device comes with 3.75G connectivity and has 4GB on internal storage along with a microSD slot for expandable storage of up to 32GB.

Videocon A42 smartphone is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera on the rear along with a 1.3-megapixel camera up front. The handset supports dual-sim with dual standby. It comes with standard connectivity features, like WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It comes pre-loaded with apps like Saavn, Hungama and Fun Zone. It also features Videocon’s own V-Store from where you can get your favorite apps for your phone. The handset is equipped with 1,700 mAh battery for long-lasting operation.
