BlackBerry Q10

The first BlackBerry 10 smartphone with physical QWERTY keyboard, BlackBerry Q10, is going to be available later in April as revealed by the UK-based retailer Clove UK. BlackBerry Q10 was announced back in late-January during the BlackBerry 10 OS launch event.

Clove UK has told their customers about the pricing and availability of the handset in UK. The retailer has started taking pre-orders for the BlackBerry Q10 smartphone on their website and has priced it for £534.99 (inclusive of taxes). The retailer is expected to start shipping the pre-ordered handsets late in April.

Carphone Warehouse, on the other hand has not revealed anything about the handset apart from the expected availability in May. Phones4U also has no information yet on the handset’s availability and is only doing registration of those interested on their Coming Soon page.

Specs of the BlackBerry Q10 are as follows:

  • 3.1″ Super AMOLED Display (720 x 720 pixels) with 330 ppi pixel density
  • 1.5GHz dual-core processor
  • BlackBerry 10 mobile OS
  • 2GB RAM
  • 8MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash, along with a camera on the front
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB 2.0
