LG has launched their Optimus G smartphone in India on February 27th at an event in Mumbai. The official price of the handset is set at Rs 34,500, but the retailers started selling the handset online before the handset was officially launched by LG. LG Optimus G is available online for Rs 30,990 from Flipkart and Infibeam. It is also available on 3 or 6 months EMI option from both the retailers.
The handset features 4.7″ True HD (720p) IPS Plus Display, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 13-megapixel primary camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, HD video recording. The handset has all the great features of a high-end smartphone.
It comes with 32GB internal storage and has all the standard features including WiFi, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, microSD, NFC, DLNA and MHL.
LG Optimus G can prove to be a good competitor to HTC Butterfly and recently announced Sony Xperia Z with almost similar specs, but a lower display. Optimus G has HD 720p display while the other two have Full HD display, but that is complemented with comparatively lower price of the handset.
The handset is one of the best smartphones in the global market and has received positive feedback from users also. Would you like to buy this sleek, stylish handset from LG?
