The popular and well received feature of multi-window is now rolling out of AT&T’s version of Samsung Galaxy Note II Android smartphone. The multi-window feature allows users to run two applications side-by-side on the screen and hence allows multi-tasking. The feature was not there for AT&T and T-Mobile’s versions of Galaxy Note II at the time of the launch, therefore Samsung is now rolling the feature via an update.
The multi-window feature update for T-Mobile’s version of Galaxy Note II started rolling out earlier this month on December 19th, now it’s also reported to be rolling for AT&T’s version. To get the multi-window feature look out for the update notification on your device or go into Settings > About phone, to check for the update manually.
Android Community reports that those who received the multi-window feature via this update are leaving positive feedback. No issues have been reported so far. The update brings your Galaxy Note II to Android version 4.1.2.
The update takes around 15 minutes to install with a couple of re-boots. So go ahead, get the multi-window feature and let us know how you like it in comments below.
