BlackBerry 10 confirmed to launch on January 30, 2013

RIM has confirmed that they will launch their BlackBerry 10 mobile operating system on January 30th, 2013 at the event that they are planning to organize simultaneously in many countries around the world.

It has been long since RIM is working on their new mobile operating system and they are staking their future on the success of it. Along with the launch of BlackBerry 10 OS on January 30th, RIM will also unveil two of their BlackBerry 10 smartphones at the event.

It is also said that BlackBerry 10 smartphones will be released in the market for sale in February. In an interview with Bloomberg, Kristian Tear, chief operating officer at RIM said that they are planning to release the BB10 smartphones worldwide within 30 days of their new OS’ launch.

BlackBerry 10 OS is the only thing for RIM to save them from their continuous downfall in the market. RIM has been facing downfall with the consistent releases of new versions of mobile operating systems by the competition.
