HTC has told PCAdvisor that HTC is working on an Android tablet which they will launch in the UK. HTC since May last year has not launched any tablet after the launch of their Flyer tablet. The tablet that they are working on will be a successor to the Flyer.
The spokesperson for HTC has not revealed anything about the specs but we are expecting that the tablet will run the latest version Android operating system, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. HTC also said that their tablet will have a unique selling point. With no other details about the tablet we can’t assume what that unique selling point could be.
Taking in view the already flooded tablet market, it is the price that matters the most. After the announcement of Nexus 7 tablet, everyone is anticipating that other manufacturers will also launch their tablet with low-price and good specs. HTC Flyer launched last year was not able to stand out because of its high price of around £600.
