Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich rolled out for Sony Xperia S

Sony on Thursday announced the roll-out of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Sony Xperia S. Sony made this announcement via their Sony Xperia Product Blog. The update gets your Xperia S to Android version 4.0.4.
With the ICS update Sony brings new Walkman, Album and Movies apps that will give you a completely new experience of music, photos, videos and movies. Along with these apps, you will see improvements in Lock Screen functionality, resizable widgets with improved personalization, better control over mobile data consumption, Recent Apps on-screen button for overview of apps.
The ICS update will be available over-the-air via mobile networks and WiFi, you will get a notification for the update once it is available for your Xperia S but the availability may vary for different carriers. You can connect your phone to a PC and get the update using PC Companion, Bridge for Mac or web-based Xperia Update.
