Vodafone Australia today announced on their official blog that they will be rolling out Android 4.0.4 update for Samsung Galaxy Nexus starting tomorrow, June 21st at 1pm. The update will be gradual and to be rolled out progressively to Galaxy Nexus devices over the period of 6 days. Currently the phone is running Android 4.0.1 version.

Vodafone said that for the first two days the update will be rolled out to only 0.1% of devices, with more devices to get the update from the third day. You may hit the source link to see the actual schedule of the update roll-out.

The update will be available over-the-air on 3G and WiFi. Updating the phone over 3G using a Vodafone sim won’t cost you any data from your monthly allowance. Getting the update while roaming will cost you applicable data charge. So, it is recommended that you update your phone via WiFi.

Though the update will be progressively rolled out to users, you may check for it manually by going in to Settings > About Phone > Software updates.
