Nokia confirmed yesterday via their Conversations Blog that Nokia 808 PureView smartphone is coming to the US. It will be launched unlocked in collaboration with Amazon.com for $699. Along with this Nokia also confirmed in the blog post that they will integrate Nokia’s PureView technology in future Windows Phone handsets.

The phone will be launched unlocked and therefore it will be compatible with carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile. Pre-order for the Nokia 808 PureView smartphone will be starting this week on Amazon. You may sign up for a notification on the availability of the phone at the Nokia USA website.

The unlocked Nokia 808 is currently available on Amazon for $749 via one of the sellers on Amazon. As soon as the phone is available for purchase, we will update our readers.
