Acer showcased yet another Android based Iconia tablet at the Computex, the Acer Iconia Tab A210. The tablet is the improved version of Iconia Tab A200 and runs Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android mobile OS, which is one of the major upgrades.

Another major change is the processor that is upgraded from dual-core to quad-core Tegra 3 clocked at 1.2GHz. The tablet will feature a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and has all the features that are there in the Iconia Tab A200.

The tablet runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, while A200 was launched on Android 3.2 honeycomb and was later updated to Ice Cream Sandwich. Acer also included a microSD slot, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a 3260mAh battery to the tablet.

When Iconia Tab A200 received the Ice Cream Sandwich update, it missed some of the features of it like the Face Unlock. In A210 you will find all the features of the Ice Cream Sandwich. A210 also comes pre-loaded with Zinio, Kindle, Kobo and Polaris Office apps.

The tablet will come in White color with possibility that it may be available in other colors too. The details on the launch of the tablet is not available yet, but we expect Acer to make an announcement soon. Stay tuned for more updates on the tablet.
