A recent report on Digitimes says that Google’s 7-inch Nexus tablet is going to be available in the market in July. It was reported earlier that Google and ASUS have been jointly working on the Nexus for the past few months.
The report on Digitimes says that Google will start shipping the initial 600,000 units of Nexus tablet in June, and the tablet will be available in the market in June at a low-cost of $200.
There have been no details available yet, which platform the Nexus Tablet will feature. Keeping the $200 cost in mind, we can say that it will feature a dual-core CPU. But the recent announcement of a new platform by NVIDIA that will provide the Tegra 3 power to low-cost devices, we can also say that it will feature NVIDIA’s new platform – Kai.
Google could possibly be selling the Nexus Tablet on their Google Play Store that started selling Galaxy Nexus phone in the US last month.
