According to a post on Ausdroid, the Ice Cream Sandwich update for Samsung Galaxy S II on Telstra Australia is now rolling out. Ausdroid was informed about the roll-out of the update from users who upgraded their Galaxy S II with the latest version of Android mobile operating system. There is also a confirmation from one of the moderators (Steph) in a thread on Telstra’s CrowdSupport forum. You will receive an over-the-air notification for the update and you can also manually check for the update on your phone, go to Settings, About Phones, Software Update. You can also get the update via Samsung Kies, connect your Galaxy S II to a PC and click “Firmware Upgrade” option. The update measures a little over 200MB.
