There is an affordable Android tablet, My Tablet 7, available in the US for just $149.99. The tablet is more affordable than the Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet. This entry-level tablet is launched by New York based software and hardware developer XTEX. My Tablet 7 is already available for purchase online at www.xtex.co/mytablet7 for $149.99.
My Tablet 7 is equipped by a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and is powered by 1.5GHz Cortex A8 processor, 1GB RAM running stock Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich mobile operating system. The tablet features 2-megapixel front-facing camera and is WiFi only. It comes with 16GB internal storage, a microSD slot for extended storage of up to 32GB, HDMI-out port for HD 1080p video playback, microUSB port and a full USB port.
There are some of the specifications that keep this tablets almost parallel to other high-priced tablets available in the market. The tablet lacks a high-resolution and one thing we have to wait and see is how Ice Cream Sandwich is going to perform on the single-core 1.5GHz Cortex A8 processor.
While purchasing the tablet, a customer is also offered an extended warranty of 1 or 2 years and also an option to buy a microSD card of 8, 16 or 32GB.
Will go consider buying this off-branded low-cost tablet?
