I’ve connected my phone, but it doesn’t show me any new update.

If you have an unlocked Galaxy S II with Optus sim in it then the update is not for you. It’s only for those Galaxy S II devices that are locked with Optus. If you have the Optus locked device and still you don’t get the update try to check the update on Kies from any other computer.

Do you know when people with an unlocked galaxy s2 will get the update?

No word yet when unlocked Galaxy S II in Australia will get the update. But if you don’t want to wait you can check the XDA Developers Forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com) for any Custom ROMs for your phone. Or you can wait for the announcement of the official roll-out about which PhonesTabs.com will definitely post.
