All Things D yesterday published on their website that the Apple iPad 3 is going to debut in the first week of March in an event that will be held in San Francisco at the Apple’s preferred location for big announcements, Yerba Buena Centre for the Arts. An Apple spokesperson declined to comment on the reports saying the company does not comment on rumours and speculation.

There had been innumerable rumours on iPad 3 lately. As per the sources there would be slight differences from iPad 2 like more room for a larger battery, a different camera, a new LCD screen and a new WiFi radio. The rumours also claimed that the iPad 3 will run on a much faster chip, reportedly the A6 processor, will feature an improved graphics processing unit and a 2048×1536 Retina display.
